What on earth have we done?

Two humans, one microphone, and a questionable decision to let you in on the conversation.

And so it begins. In our first episode, we introduce ourselves, the podcast, and the slightly questionable decision to put our conversations on the internet. Our careers have led us to know a fair bit about boundaries, attachment, feelings, patterns and emotional regulation. But understanding ourselves is a lifelong (and slightly intense) process... having the knowledge is one thing; being human, with all its twists, turns and contradictions, is certainly another.

We talk about the gap between knowing better and actually doing better, why therapy speak can be useful but sometimes needs translating into actual human language, and who we are beyond our professional titles. We'll also give you a taste of the conversations we're probably going to have, including the ones we really shouldn't be having on a public podcast.

Some things are easier to talk about when you can laugh first.

Welcome to Conversations We Usually Avoid.
